15. Formal Translation And Shallun son of Kol-Hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the Fountain Gate; he rebuilt it, covered it, and set up its doors, bolts, and bars. He also built the wall of the Pool of Siloam by the King’s Garden, as far as the steps that descend from the City of David. |
15. Dynamic Translation Shallun, the son of Kol-Hozeh and leader of Mizpah’s district, repaired the Fountain Gate. He rebuilt it, roofed it over, and installed its doors, bolts, and bars, and he restored the wall of the Pool of Siloam near the King’s Garden, extending to the steps that descend from the City of David. |
