Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Numbers 11:17:1 ⧉וְיָרַדְתִּ֗יveyaradtiand I will come down Numbers 11:17:2 ⧉וְדִבַּרְתִּ֣יvedibbartiand I will speak Numbers 11:17:3 ⧉עִמְּךָ֮imkhawith you Numbers 11:17:4 ⧉שָׁם֒shamthere Numbers 11:17:5 ⧉וְאָצַלְתִּ֗יveatsaltiand I will take {some and bestow} Numbers 11:17:6 ⧉מִן־הָר֛וּחַminharuakhfrom the Spirit Numbers 11:17:7 ⧉אֲשֶׁ֥רasherthat Numbers 11:17:8 ⧉עָלֶ֖יךָalekhais upon you Numbers 11:17:9 ⧉וְשַׂמְתִּ֣יvesamtiand I will put Numbers 11:17:10 ⧉עֲלֵיהֶ֑םaleihemupon them Numbers 11:17:11 ⧉וְנָשְׂא֤וּvenasuand they will bear Numbers 11:17:12 ⧉אִתְּךָ֙itkhawith you Numbers 11:17:13 ⧉בְּמַשָּׂ֣אbemasain the burden Numbers 11:17:14 ⧉הָעָ֔םhaamof the people Numbers 11:17:15 ⧉וְלֹא־תִשָּׂ֥אvelotisaand you will not bear Numbers 11:17:16 ⧉אַתָּ֖הatayou Numbers 11:17:17 ⧉לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃levadkhaalone |
17. Formal Translation And I {Yahweh, Sovereign Speaker} will come down and speak with you there, and I will take from the Spirit that is upon you and place it upon them, and they will bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it alone. |
17. Dynamic Translation I {Yahweh, Divine Counselor} will come down and talk with you there. I will take some of the Spirit that is on you and give it to them. They will help carry the burden of the people with you, so you will not have to carry it by yourself. |
