16. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Leader} said to Moses, “Gather for Me seventy men from the elders of Israel whom you know to be the elders of the people and its officers. Take them to the tent of meeting, and let them stand there with you.” |
16. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Divine Guide} said to Moses, “Bring Me seventy of Israel’s elders whom you know are respected leaders and officials. Have them come to the tent of meeting, and let them stand there with you.” |
