14. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Disciplinary Judge} said to Moses, “If her father had surely spat in her face, would she not be disgraced for seven days? She shall be confined outside the camp for seven days, and afterward she may be gathered back into the community.” |
14. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Community Protector} said to Moses, “If her father had spit in her face, would she not be shamed for seven days? She must remain outside the camp for seven days, and then she can be welcomed back.” |
