| 12. Formal Translation He shall purify himself with it on the third day and on the seventh day, and he shall be clean; but if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he shall not be clean. |
| 12. Dynamic Translation He must wash himself on the third and the seventh days, and then he will be clean. But if he does not wash himself on both the third and the seventh days, he will not be clean. |
