   KOL-ha-no-GE-a be-MET be-NE-fesh ha-a-DAM a-SHER-ya-MUT ve-LO yit-khat-TA et-mish-KAN Ye-ho-VAH tim-ME ve-nikh-re-TA ha-NE-fesh ha-hi mi-yis-ra-EL KI MEI nid-DA lo-zo-RAK a-LAV ta-ME yih-YE OD tum-a-TO VO

   anyone who touches a dead person a human corpse of a person who has died and does not purify himself the tabernacle of LORD defiles and shall be cut off that person that from Israel for the water of impurity was not sprinkled upon him he shall be unclean he shall be still his uncleanness remains on him

Exegesis

The final imperfect yihyeh od tum’ato bo {יִהְיֶה עוֹד טֻמְאָת֥וֹ בֽוֹ | yi-ḥyéh ʿōd ṭumʾāṯô bô} ‘he will remain, and his impurity with him’ uses od {עוֹד | ʿōd} ‘still’ to convey ongoing state.
