10. Formal Translation
Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: “If any man becomes unclean on account of a soul or is on a distant journey, whether for you or for your descendants, he shall keep the Passover for the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Redeemer}.”
10. Dynamic Translation
Tell the Israelites: “If anyone is defiled by contact with a dead body or is away on a distant journey—whether for you or for your descendants—they may still observe the Passover to the LORD {Yahweh, Deliverer}.”
