19. Formal Translation Those in the Negev will take the mountain of Esau, and those in the Shephelah will take the land of the Philistines; they will also take the field of Ephraim and the field of Samaria, and Benjamin will take Gilead. |
19. Dynamic Translation People from the Negev will move into Esau’s hill country, and people from the lowlands will seize the Philistines territory. They will take over Ephraim’s fields and Samaria’s fields, and Benjamin will gain Gilead. |
