For the chief musician, of David. In the LORD {Yahweh, Refuge and Protector} I have sought refuge; how can you say to my soul, “Flee to your mountain like a bird?”

For the music director, a psalm of David. The LORD {Yahweh, Steadfast Shelter} is the one I rely on, so why would you say to my soul, “Take flight to your mountain like a bird?”
