17. Formal Translation
And the dragon grew furious with the woman, and it departed to wage war against the remainder of her offspring, those who observe the commandments of God {Theos, Holy Lawgiver} and who bear the testimony of Jesus {Iesous, Proclaimed Savior}.
17. Dynamic Translation
Then the dragon was consumed with anger toward the woman and set out to wage battle against the remaining children born to her—those who obey God’s {Theos, Supreme Judge} commands and cling to the testimony concerning Jesus {Iesous, Suffering Redeemer}.
