Exegesis

The verse begins with the coordinating clause kai ek tou stomatos autou ekporeuetai {καὶ ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ἐκπορεύεται | kaì ek toû stó-matos autoû ek-po-reú-e-tai} ‘and out of His mouth proceeds’, where the genitive prepositional phrase emphasizes source and divine agency.
