The paratactic objects ouranon kainon {οὐρανὸν καινὸν | oura-nòn kainòn} ‘a new heaven’ and gēn kainēn {γῆν καινήν | gēn kainḗn} ‘a new earth’ use noun–adjective order to heighten the sense of comprehensive renewal.
