5. Formal Translation
But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God {Theos, Righteous Judge}, what shall we say? Is God unjust, who inflicts wrath? (I speak according to man.)
5. Dynamic Translation
But if what we do wrong makes God's {Theos, Fair Judge} righteousness stand out, what should we say? Is God unfair for bringing His anger upon us? I am speaking from a human point of view.
