And why not rather, as we are slandered and as some claim that we say, “Let us do evil things so that good things may come”? Their judgment is just.

And why not say, as we are wrongly accused and as certain people allege that we are saying, “We should do evil things so that good might result”? The judgment on such people is truly fair.
