Ruth 2:7:1וַתֹּ֗אמֶרvatomerand she said
Ruth 2:7:2אֲלַקֳטָה־נָּא֙alakotanalet me glean, please Ruth 2:7:3וְאָסַפְתִּ֣יveasaftiand I will gather Ruth 2:7:4בָֽעֳמָרִ֔יםvaomarimamong the sheaves Ruth 2:7:5אַחֲרֵ֖יakhareafter Ruth 2:7:6הַקּוֹצְרִ֑יםhakotsrimthe reapers Ruth 2:7:7וַתָּב֣וֹאvatavoand she came Ruth 2:7:8וַֽתַּעֲמ֗וֹדvataamodand she stood Ruth 2:7:9מֵאָ֤זmeazfrom then Ruth 2:7:10הַבֹּ֙קֶר֙habokerthe morning Ruth 2:7:11וְעַד־עַ֔תָּהveadataand until now Ruth 2:7:12זֶ֛הzethis Ruth 2:7:13שִׁבְתָּ֥הּshivtaher sitting Ruth 2:7:14הַבַּ֖יִתhabayitthe house Ruth 2:7:15מְעָֽט׃meata little
7. Formal Translation
She said, “Please let me glean and gather among the sheaves after the reapers.” And she came and has stood from the morning until now; her sitting in the house was only a little.
7. Dynamic Translation
She asked, “May I pick up and collect grain among the bundles behind the harvesters?” She came and has been standing here from early morning until now; she has only rested inside the shelter for a short while.
