13. Formal Translation Stay the night, and in the morning, if he will redeem you, good—let him redeem; but if he does not desire to redeem you, then I myself will redeem you—by the life of the LORD {Yahweh, Oath Witness}. Lie down until the morning. |
13. Dynamic Translation Remain here through the night, and when morning comes, if he chooses to redeem you, that is good—let him do it. But if he is not willing to fulfill his duty, I will take responsibility and redeem you, as surely as the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Keeper} lives. Rest here until morning. |
