12. Formal Translation And the angel of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Lord} answered and said, “O LORD of hosts, how long will You not have compassion on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You have been angry these seventy years?” |
12. Dynamic Translation Then the angel of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant King} said, “LORD of hosts, how much longer will You refuse to show mercy to Jerusalem and to the towns of Judah, which You have been angry with for these seventy years?” |
