2. Formal Translation Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has fallen—the mighty ones have been devastated. Wail, O oaks of Bashan, for the thick forest has come down. |
2. Dynamic Translation Cry out, cypress tree, because the cedar has been felled—the majestic trees lie in ruin. Mourn, oaks from Bashan, for the dense forest has been brought low. |
