The negative result clause velo yizzakheru od {וְלֹ֥א יִזָּכְר֖וּ ע֑וֹד | wə-lōʾ yiz-zā-ḵə-rū ʿōḏ} establishes permanent non-remembrance.

And it shall come to pass on that day, declares the LORD of hosts , that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. I will also remove the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness from the land.
