Exegesis

The negative velo yilbeshu {וְלֹ֧א יִלְבְּשׁ֛וּ | wə-lō yilbəšû} ‘and not they will wear’ marks the prohibition of adderet sear {אַדֶּרֶת שֵׂעָ֖ר | adderet se·ʿar} ‘cloak of hair’, with lemaan kachesh {לְמַ֥עַן כַּחֵֽשׁ | le·maʿan ka·ḥēš} ‘in order to deception’ denoting the illicit motive.
