Fire imagery in ba-esh {בָּאֵ֔שׁ | bā-ʾêš} ‘through the fire’ with kitzrof {כִּצְרֹף | ki-ṣrōp̄} ‘as one refines’ and ha-keseph {הַכֶּסֶף | ha-ké-sep̄} ‘the silver,’ alongside kivchon {כִּבְחֹן | ki-ḇ-ḥôn} ‘like testing’ and ha-zahav {הַזָּהָב | ha-zā-hāv} ‘the gold,’ underscores purification.
