The parallelism wenastem kaasher nastem {וְנַסְתֶּ֗ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר נַסְתֶּם֙ | wə-nas-tem ka-ʾă-šer nās-tem} ‘you will flee as you fled’ recalls minpnei haraash {מִפְּנֵ֣י הָרַ֔עַשׁ | min-pə-nêy hā-ra-ʿaš} ‘from before the earthquake,’ creating a historical typology linked to Uzziah’s reign (bimei uzziah melekyehudah).
