2. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Judicial Rebuker} said to the adversary, “May the LORD rebuke you, adversary; yes, may the LORD who elects Jerusalem rebuke you. Is this not a firebrand rescued from the fire?” |
2. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Guardian of Zion} said to the accuser, “May the LORD rebuke you, accuser! May the LORD who chose Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this firebrand plucked from the fire?” |
