5. Formal Translation I will cut off those who bow down upon the rooftops to the host of the heavens, and those who bow down and swear to the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Judge} and swear by Malkam. |
5. Dynamic Translation I will cut off those who bow down on the rooftops to worship the starry host, those who bow down and swear to the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Protector} and yet swear by Milcom. |
