The phrase ve-etsbe‘otav shesh-wa-shesh esrim ve-arba {וְאֶצְבְּעֹתָיו שֵׁשׁ־וָשֵׁשׁ עֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבַּע} “and his digits six and six, twenty and four” employs parallelism and merism to emphasize the unusual count, where etsbe‘otav covers both fingers and toes.
