| 8. Formal Translation And the word of the LORD {Yahweh, Holy Temple-Chooser} came to me, saying, “You have shed blood in abundance, and you have done great wars. You shall not build a house for My name, because you have shed much blood on the earth before Me.” |
| 8. Dynamic Translation Then the LORD {Yahweh, Wise Corrector} spoke to me, saying, “You have poured out a great deal of blood and fought major wars. You will not build a house for My name, because you have shed so much blood on the earth before Me.” |
