28. Formal Translation And their possession and their settlements were: Bethel with its villages; on the eastern side, Naaran; on the western side, Gezer with its villages; and Shechem with its villages, extending to Ayyah with its villages. |
28. Dynamic Translation Their lands and settlements included Bethel and its villages, Naaran toward the east, Gezer and its villages toward the west, and Shechem and its villages, reaching as far as Ayyah and its villages. |
