11. Formal Translation But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother if he is a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one you are not even to eat. |
11. Dynamic Translation Now I am telling you not to mix closely with anyone who claims to be a fellow believer but is sexually immoral, greedy, an idol worshiper, abusive, a drunkard, or someone who exploits others; do not even share a meal with someone like that. |
