13. Formal Translation Foods are for the belly, and the belly is for foods, but God {Theos, Sovereign Judge} will do away with both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord {Kyrios, Holy Master}, and the Lord is for the body. |
13. Dynamic Translation Food is meant for the stomach, and the stomach for food, but God {Theos, Final Judge} will put an end to both of them. The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord {Kyrios, Caring Master}, and the Lord is for the body. |
