3. Formal Translation What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father {Pater, Source of Fellowship} and with His Son, Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Anointed Savior}. |
3. Dynamic Translation We pass on to you what we ourselves saw and heard, so that you too may share fellowship with us; and the fellowship we share is with the Father {Pater, Welcoming Father} and with His Son, Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Faithful Redeemer}. |
