10. Formal Translation The one who believes in the Son of God {Theos, Testifying Father} has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God makes Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has borne concerning His Son. |
10. Dynamic Translation Whoever trusts in the Son of God has this witness within him; but whoever does not trust God {Theos, Rejected Witness} treats Him as a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given about His Son. |
