9. Formal Translation If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God {Theos, Supreme Witness} is greater, because this is God’s testimony: He has testified concerning His Son. |
9. Dynamic Translation If we accept what people testify, God’s {Theos, Highest Authority} testimony carries more weight, because God Himself is the One who has borne witness about His Son. |
