| 5. Formal Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Foreseeing Sovereign} said to Ahijah, “Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you about her son, for he is ill; thus and thus you shall say to her. And it shall be, when she comes in, that she will disguise herself.” |
| 5. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Omniscient Counselor} told Ahijah, “Jeroboam’s wife is coming to ask you about her son because he is ill. This is the answer you are to give her. When she arrives, she will pretend to be someone else.” |
