24. Formal Translation For he ruled over all the region on this side of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah to Gaza, over all the kings of that region, and peace was his from all his borders round about. |
24. Dynamic Translation He held authority over every territory on this side of the Euphrates River, from Tiphsah to Gaza, over every king in those lands, and he enjoyed peace on every side. |
