14. Formal Translation If you fear the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Ruler} and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the mouth of the LORD, then both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God. |
14. Dynamic Translation If you honor the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Leader}, worship Him, heed what He says, and refuse to rebel against His word, then you and your king will keep walking after the LORD your God. |
