9. Formal Translation But they forgot the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Judge} their God, and He sold them into the hand of Sisera, commander of the army of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab; and they fought against them. |
9. Dynamic Translation They forgot the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} their God, so He handed them over to Sisera, Hazor’s army commander, to the Philistines, and to the king of Moab, and those enemies went to war with them. |
