37. Formal Translation
And Saul asked of God {Elohim, Divine Counselor}, “Shall I go down after the Philistines? Will You give them into the hand of Israel?” But He did not answer him that day.
37. Dynamic Translation
Saul questioned God {Elohim, Guide in battle}, “Should I pursue the Philistines? Will You let Israel capture them?” But God gave him no reply that day.
