36. Formal Translation
Your servant struck both the lion and the bear, and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has taunted the battle-lines of the living God {Elohim, Living Defender}.
36. Dynamic Translation
I have killed lions and bears, and this uncircumcised Philistine will end the same way, because he has insulted the forces of the living God {Elohim, Life Giver}.
