| 23. Formal Translation And the servants of Saul spoke these words in the ears of David, and David said, “Does it seem a small matter in your eyes to become the king’s son-in-law, since I am a poor and lightly regarded man?” |
| 23. Dynamic Translation Saul’s servants said these things to David, and David replied, “Do you think becoming the king’s son-in-law is a small matter in your eyes? I am only a poor and insignificant man.” |
