1 Samuel 20:7:1אִם־כֹּ֥הimkoif thus
1 Samuel 20:7:2יֹאמַ֖רyomarhe says 1 Samuel 20:7:3ט֣וֹבtovgood 1 Samuel 20:7:4שָׁל֑וֹםshalompeace or well-being 1 Samuel 20:7:5לְעַבְדֶּ֥ךָleavdekhafor your servant 1 Samuel 20:7:6וְאִם־חָרֹ֤הveimkharobut if he is kindled 1 Samuel 20:7:7יֶֽחֱרֶ֨הyekherehe will burn with anger 1 Samuel 20:7:8ל֜וֹloto him or for him 1 Samuel 20:7:9דַּ֣עdaknow 1 Samuel 20:7:10כִּֽי־כָלְתָ֥הkikhaltathat it has been completed 1 Samuel 20:7:11הָרָעָ֖הharaathe harm 1 Samuel 20:7:12מֵעִמּֽוֹ׃meimmofrom with him
7. Formal Translation
If he says, “Good,” then your servant will be safe; but if he is very angry, then know that harm is determined by him.
7. Dynamic Translation
If he says, “Good,” then your servant will be safe. But if he becomes very angry, then know that harm is determined by him.
