| 13. Formal Translation And Saul said to him, “Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, by giving him bread and a sword and by inquiring of God {Elohim, Source of guidance} for him, so that he rises up against me to lie in ambush as on this very day?” |
| 13. Dynamic Translation Saul said, “Why have you plotted against me—you and Jesse’s son—by supplying him with bread and a sword and by seeking God {Elohim, Divine Decision Maker} for him, so that he stands up to ambush me, just as he is doing today?” |
