5. Formal Translation Because of this, I also, when I could endure it no longer, sent to know your faith, lest somehow the tempter had tempted you and our labor might be in vain. |
5. Dynamic Translation That is why, when I could not stand it any longer, I sent to learn about your faith, in case the tempter had lured you and all our hard work had come to nothing. |
