21. Formal Translation
And Rehoboam loved Maakah the daughter of Absalom more than all his wives and his concubines. For he took eighteen wives and sixty concubines, and he fathered twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.
21. Dynamic Translation
Rehoboam cared more for Maakah, Absalom’s daughter, than for any of his other wives or concubines. In all, he married eighteen wives and had sixty concubines, and he became the father of twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.
