וַיָּ֛סַר{va-ya-SAR###vah-yaa-SAR###and he removed} אֶת־מִזְבְּח֥וֹת{et-miz-be-KHOT###eet-mihz-beh-KHOOT###the altars of} הַנֵּכָ֖ר{ha-ne-KHAR###hah-neh-KHAAR###the foreign (thing or foreigner)} וְהַבָּמ֑וֹת{ve-ha-ba-MOT###veh-hah-baa-MOOT###and the high places} וַיְשַׁבֵּ֙ר{va-ye-shab-BER###vah-yeh-shahb-BEER###and he shattered} אֶת־הַמַּצֵּב֔וֹת{et-ha-mats-tse-VOT###eet-hah-mahts-tseh-VOOT###the pillars} וַיְגַדַּ֖ע{va-ye-gad-DA###vah-yeh-gahd-DAH###and he cut down} אֶת־הָאֲשֵׁרִֽים׃{et-ha-a-she-RIM###eet-haa-ah-sheh-REEM###the Asherim}
