2 Chronicles 20:24:2בָּ֥אbacame 2 Chronicles 20:24:3עַל־הַמִּצְפֶּ֖הalhamitspeto the lookout, watchtower 2 Chronicles 20:24:4לַמִּדְבָּ֑רlammidbarof the wilderness 2 Chronicles 20:24:5וַיִּפְנוּ֙vayifnuand they turned 2 Chronicles 20:24:6אֶל־הֶ֣הָמ֔וֹןelhehamontoward the multitude, horde 2 Chronicles 20:24:7וְהִנָּ֧םvehinnamand behold them, and behold 2 Chronicles 20:24:8פְּגָרִ֛יםpegarimcorpses 2 Chronicles 20:24:9נֹפְלִ֥יםnofelimfalling, lying fallen 2 Chronicles 20:24:10אַ֖רְצָהartsato the ground, earthward 2 Chronicles 20:24:11וְאֵ֥יןveenand there was no 2 Chronicles 20:24:12פְּלֵיטָֽה׃peleitaescape, one who escaped
24. Formal Translation
And Judah came to the watchtower overlooking the wilderness, and they turned toward the multitude, and behold, they were corpses lying on the ground; and there was no survivor.
24. Dynamic Translation
When Judah arrived at the lookout facing the desert and looked toward the army, they saw only dead bodies stretched out on the earth; not a single person had escaped.
