The parallel cause–effect clauses kî-’ăzabtêm ’et-Yəhôwāh wayya‘azōv ’etkhem {כִּי־עֲזַבְתֶּם אֶת־יְהוָה וַיַּעֲזֹב אֶתְכֶם | kî-’ăzabtêm ʾet Yəhôwāh wayya‘azōv ʾetkhem} enact reciprocal covenant judgment.
