| 23. Formal Translation And it happened at the turn of the year that the army of Aram went up against him, came to Judah and Jerusalem, destroyed all the leaders of the people from among the people, and sent all their plunder to the king of Damascus. |
| 23. Dynamic Translation At the turn of the year, the Aramean army attacked him, invaded Judah and Jerusalem, killed all the community leaders, and sent all their loot to the king of Damascus. |
