וַיְהִ֗י{va-ye-HI###vah-yeh-HEE###and it happened} אַחֲרֵ֨י{a-kha-REI###ah-khah-REE###after} ב֤וֹא{VO###VOH###the coming} אֲמַצְיָ֙הוּ֙{a-mats-ya-HU###ah-mahts-yah-HOO###Amaziah} מֵֽהַכּ֣וֹת{me-ha-KOT###mee-hah-KOHT###from striking down} אֶת־אֲדוֹמִ֔ים{et-a-do-MIM###eht-ah-doh-MEEM###(direct object) Edomites} וַיָּבֵ֗א{va-ya-VE###vah-yah-VEE###and he brought} אֶת־אֱלֹהֵי֙{et-e-lo-HEI###eht-eh-loh-HEE###(direct object) the gods of} בְּנֵ֣י{be-NEI###beh-NEE###the sons of} שֵׂעִ֔יר{se-IR###seh-EER###Seir} וַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֥ם{va-ya-a-mi-DEM###vah-yah-ah-mee-DEEM###and he set them up} ל֖וֹ{LO###LOH###for him} לֵאלֹהִ֑ים{le-e-lo-HIM###lee-eh-loh-HEEM###as gods} וְלִפְנֵיהֶ֥ם{ve-lif-ne-HEM###veh-lihf-neh-HEHMe###and before them} יִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֶ֖ה{yish-ta-kha-VE###yihsh-tah-khah-VEE###he would bow down} וְלָהֶ֥ם{ve-la-HEM###veh-laa-HEHM###and to them} יְקַטֵּֽר׃{ye-kat-TER###yeh-kahte-TEER###he would make smoke or burn incense}
