| 15. Formal Translation And the anger of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} burned against Amaziah, and He sent a prophet to him who said to him, “Why have you sought the gods of the people who did not deliver their own people from your hand?” |
| 15. Dynamic Translation Then the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Avenger} became very angry with Amaziah and sent a prophet to confront him. The prophet asked, “Why did you turn to this nation’s gods—gods who could not even save their own people from your power?” |
