| 16. Formal Translation But when he became strong, his heart rose up to his destruction; he acted unfaithfully against the LORD his God {Yahweh Elohim, Sole Worship Authority} and went into the temple of the LORD to offer incense on the incense altar. |
| 16. Dynamic Translation However, after Uzziah gained strength, his pride led to his ruin. He was unfaithful to the LORD his God {Yahweh Elohim, Sanctuary Guardian}, and he entered the LORD’s temple to burn incense on the altar of incense. |
